Description

Our client, a major Multinational company, is currently recruiting a Service Design Lead to join its Belfast based team in a contract role.

 

Role / Opportunity:

The project involve the migration of 3 Major Contracts, each with its own distinct Shared Service model into existing Managed Service Shared Service organisation

  • Lead a project team to migrate 3 existing contracts into an existing Managed Services shared model
  • Develop a strong understanding of the existing Managed Services organisation and capabilities
  • Identify and define quick wins and drive the implementation of such activities
  • agree a shared model that will create efficiencies in use of people, processes and systems across the 3 contracts and MS model
  • Identify, define and agree areas that may continue to operate outside of the existing MS model and ensure the internal processes and procedures are in place to enable such continuation of services
  • Liaise with other senior members of the  organisation to understand strategic plan for the MS organisation and other areas of the business e.g. Applications Development and Support team
  • Lead and work with the  Transition Manager to ensure non-service impacting transition of people, processes and technology across to the MS organisation
  • Ensure on-going and effective end to end service management operations for the 3 contracts with minimal impact on the customer
  • Define a communications plan where required with the Business and Service Managers to engage customers in any changes to existing operations
  • Define a communications plan where required with the Project Management team to inform the senior  Steering Group

 

Skills / Experience:

The ideal candidate  will have experience of taking a lead role within a project team to implement and migrate contracts into operational services and develop ITIL best practice operational processes and procedures in line with ISO20000 standards
